:: Irving Plaza :: 02/02/07 :: New York, NY ::
Words By: Rich Lieberman
Heading up out of the subway station at Union
Square there was a chill in the air, but as I walked over to 15th Street & Irving Place, I knew that the Irving Plaza would be red hot. Galactic would soon have a sold out crowd shedding layers and shredding the ballroom floor. The promise of some of the most danceable instrumental live music on the scene, coupled with the excitement of Galactic’s return to NYC, made this one highly anticipated show.

Arriving early at the old, three-level Polish dance hall turned rock venue turned out to be a good idea. A sold out Irving Plaza holds 1000 on a packed night.
