The final day of this first true festival of the season was upon us! For a third straight day you had to get yourself to the festival grounds pretty early to catch some great music. Miami’s own Spam Allstars and Kid Beyond had the opening slots. After an incredible late show by Michael Franti & Spearhead at Revolution the night before, I was lucky enough to catch some of New Orleans’ most legendary performers, The New Orleans Social Club, featuring George Porter Jr., Leo Nocentelli, Henry Butler, Ivan Neville and Raymond Weber. Nothing like a little NOLA funk to get you started - the Social Club had the slow arriving crowd moving
